Along the way to the famous Miraflores Locks Visitor Center, we will talk all about the history of Panama and the Panama Canal. Inside of the Visitor Center enjoy the viewing platforms to watch the ships transit the famous Miraflores Locks, and see historic photographs of this man-made wonder in the museum.

We will head the Amador Causeway for the best view of Panama’s skyline and a stop at the colorful PANAMA sign. We will stop on Naos Island for lunch and take in the views of Panama City and Casco Viejo, and perhaps spot a sloth near the Smithsonian Nature Center.

We will finish the tour with a walking trip around Panama City’s ‘old town’, Casco Antiguo. We visit some of the plazas for you to marvel at its spectacular architecture and learn about the rich history of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will show you where to buy the best souvenirs at the best prices, including a Panama Hat or other traditional pieces of art. We provide transportation back to your hotel, or you can decide to stay in Casco Antiguo for sunset, dinner or drinks in one of the many plazas, restaurants or rooftop bars.
