The tour guide Tereza was absolutely wonderful, she picked me up at my hostal which was centrally located in panamá city, I got in her nice, roomy van (with air conditioner), and then we picked up the other two people for the tour. We headed out the the dock, where we got on a roomy boat with a very nice and experienced pilot. (This did not take up much time, and on the way there she enlightened us on a lot of Panamá history about the city and the canal). After getting onto the boat, we were given a few tips few tips for safety around the monkeys and on the boat. We were also provided with life-vests. The water was beautiful and so was the rain forest and the view. Immediately we were able to have close interactions with the monkeys. We saw all three species of monkeys on the island, plus a lot of other super cool wildlife. Once we were finished on the lake hopping islands and feeding monkeys, we went over to a preserved village of indigenous people, we were given a tour of the area and enjoyed a talk about their history and the materials they use for their clothes, homes an art. We got to chat with them if we wanted and had an opportunity to purchase their hand made crafts. After we were finished there we boarded the boat once again and head back to the dock, where we set back for panama city and got some lunch at this amazing restaurant.(not included) Our guide Teresa was so informative, so knowledgable and spoke perfect english and perfect Spanish. She even taught us a few words of the indigenous language of the village. I had an amazing time! Thank you Tereza

Our guide Teresa clearly loves her job, and is great at it - enthusiastic, well-informed, and friendly. We took the trip to San Lorenzo and to see the new locks. The Fort is very well preserved, we enjoyed walking around and it had amazing views. One of the highlights of our trip was the sloth Tereza spotted on the way back from the Fort. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide was fantastic as she was a "Zoneian" - a descendent of the US citizens that managed the Panama canal. Hearing her story in itself was worth the price off the tour. Her enthusiasm for Panama and the native people was awesome. At Pedro Mighuel locks we were able to watch a big Panamax ship go through the canal. Overall a great tour and day, but the best part, as in most tours, was the quality of the guide.
